Privacy policy

CertiTrip is an early-stage project. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and what we deliberately do not. If anything here is unclear, write to us.

The survey is anonymous

Survey answers are stored without any name, email, IP address or account. We keep only the answers, the language you used, and the date (not the time) of submission. There is no identifier that could tie a response back to you.

Unfinished surveys

As you move through the survey, your answers so far are saved anonymously so we can see where people find it difficult and improve the questions. Like completed responses, this partial data carries no name, email, IP address or account, and only the date (not the time). When you finish, this working copy is deleted and only your final anonymous response is kept. It is never linked to your email.

Survey answers and emails are never linked

The survey store and the email list are two separate databases with no shared identifier, session token or timestamp linking them. Leaving your email is a distinct, optional act — it is never connected to what you answered.

Email subscribers

If you join the founding community, we store your email address, your language, the date you signed up, and where on the site you signed up (pop-up, footer or after the survey). We use it only to keep you posted about CertiTrip. No advertising, no selling, no sharing.

Analytics

We load privacy-friendly analytics only after you accept the cookie banner. It helps us understand which pages are useful. It does not build an advertising profile of you.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored on Cloudflare D1. Where the option is available to us, we keep it within the European Union jurisdiction. Cloudflare acts as our data processor.

Your rights & deletion

You can ask us to delete your email address at any time — we will remove it promptly. Because survey answers are anonymous, we cannot single out or delete an individual response, as none is tied to you. To exercise any right, contact us below.

Hotel suggestions

If you suggest a hotel, we store what you tell us about it — and, only if you choose to give it, your email address — so we can review the suggestion and build the directory. These records are kept separately and are never linked to the anonymous survey.
